Swarnim Krushi Mahotsav 2010 at Navsari to be kicked off by Narendra Modi

Mr. Narendra Modi will inaugurate state’s Swarnim Krushi Mahotsav on 16th of May from Navsari Agricultural University (NAU). To spread awareness the University has organised a number of activities including an exhibition, mango, flower and cattle shows and workshop of local farmers in which they will receive guidance of experts.
The district administration has prepared three Krushi raths that will travel to all the five talukas of Navsari. The raths will be accompanied by scientists, officials and PG students.
The Government of Gujarat has allocated Rs 145 Crores to Krushi Mahotsav 2010.
